Jackson Bostwikc was fired from the SHAZAM! series after two episodes into the second season and replaced by another actor.

He failed to show up for a shooting and the producers accused him of holding out for more salary. The truth was, he had sustained an injury at the previous day's shooting and was getting treatment.

Jackson successfully filed a lawsuit against Filmation Enterprises, who was forced to pay him for the remainder of his contract, which included the remaining episodes of the second season.
